Islam: A monotheistic religion characterized by the adoption of principles of submission to God; and believing in Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as the last messenger of God. Accordingly, my role in this life is to worship Allah (SWT). In Islam, people should express verbally and believe in the heart that there is no God but Allah (Tawheed), as well as to practice Islam as much as Muslims might be able. In the Quran, Allah (SWT) says, And I have neither created the Jinn nor humans except to worship Me. Az Zà ¢riyà ¢t (51:56). My impression is based around the Five Pillars of Islam. The Five Pillars of Islam are; declaring that there is no God but Allah known as (Shahada), praying five times a day (Salah), fasting the holy month of Ramadan (Sawm),†¦show more content†¦However, if you are Muslim and you mistreat your mother, then the opportunity to obtain salvation is uncertain as religion of Islam states. Then comes your relationship with your father; and it is the role of the c hildren to care for their parents, for better or for worse. In the near future, I want to start my own business; one that will help my community and bring about positive changes. In addition, to address some worldly crises through my business, it is required to integrate with our daily life with what someone believes. Although I am not aware of exactly what I want to build my business, yet I know that an environmental friendly business will be useful to our environment. With careful planning and consideration, we will be careful about limiting the number of hazardous resources that we use such as paper; and make sure that we do not connect to the everlasting problem of pollution and deforesting. Furthermore, I am also planning on giving back to my community and giving a portion of our profits to non-profit charities; be it that our business becomes successful one day. Just as there is a key priority of giving to charities, one of the Five Pillars in Islam obligates its believer s as Christianity propagates.
